The heart of the cross is penal substitutionary atonement. But what does that mean exactly, and why do many theologians object to this doctrine? Steve Jeffrey is the Minister of Emmanuel Evangelical Church in north London. He helped write a book on this topic - Pierced for our Transgressions. He unpacks this doctrine for us by looking back to the Old Testament for clues to this pattern embedded all throughout scripture.

We’re finally (sorry about the delay) posting the final seminar talks from REVIVE 2019 and today we’re hearing from Tom Heasman, one of the associate pastors at Dundonald Church.

Tom is behind a number of first step evangelistic resources, your church may be using one of them - A Better Hero and A Better Life. You can find out more about these resources, and more at Something Better, a website put together by Dundonald Church to equip church members in evangelism.
